Role

We seek a creative, energetic Fashion Designer to assist our founder in producing high-quality designs. As a fashion designer, you should first know the principles of design & textiles in the fashion industry. In addition, you should be able to apply this knowledge to create aesthetically pleasing & functional apparel designs on paper.

Responsibilities

Design Support:

• Propose innovative ideas to enhance the brand’s design portfolio.
• Assist in conceptualising and developing upcoming collections.
• Collaborate on sketching, fabric selection, and the overall design process.
• Maintain an organised archive of designs, patterns, inspiration boards, collection presentations, and lookbooks.

Coordination and Communication:

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for fabric, trims, and accessories.
• Communicate design updates and client requirements effectively with the team.

Skills

• Critical thinking approach to concept development
• Adobe Creative Suite – especially Illustrator & InDesign

Qualification:

• A bachelor's degree in fashion design or fine arts, or a related field will be preferable
